Child Labor Prohibition Policy Statement
Our company is committed to complying with international labor standards, corporate social responsibility principles, and human rights requirements by strictly prohibiting all forms of child labor. We require our business partners and suppliers to uphold the same standards. Through supply chain management, regular audits, risk assessments, and reporting mechanisms, we ensure compliance with legal and ethical requirements, protect children's rights, and promote a responsible and sustainable business environment.
I. Purpose The Company is committed to complying with international labor standards and corporate social responsibility principles. This Policy is established to explicitly prohibit the employment of child labor and to ensure that the Company's operations and supply chain comply with ethical, human rights, and legal requirements. II. Scope This Policy applies to all employees, subsidiaries, branch offices, business partners, and suppliers of the Company. III. Definitions 1.Child Labor In accordance with the International Labour Organization (ILO) Conventions No. 138 (Minimum Age Convention) and No. 182 (Worst Forms of Child Labour Convention), child labor refers to the employment of individuals below the minimum legal working age (generally 15 years old, or 14 years old in certain developing countries) or individuals engaged in work that is harmful to their health, safety, or moral development. 2.Minimum Working Age The minimum working age shall not be lower than the minimum employment age prescribed by applicable local laws and regulations and shall comply with relevant ILO standards. IV. Policy Requirements 1. The Company strictly prohibits the employment of any individual who has not reached the minimum legal working age in any of its business operations. 2. The Company shall not engage in business relationships with suppliers, contractors, or business partners that employ child labor. 3. If any violation is identified, the Company will immediately take corrective actions, including but not limited to contract termination, reporting the matter to the relevant authorities, and providing appropriate remediation support, such as assisting affected children in returning to school. 4. The Company shall conduct regular supply chain audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with this Policy. 5. The Company encourages business partners and suppliers to implement equivalent or similar policies and provides necessary education, awareness programs, and training where appropriate. V. Reporting Mechanism and Protection Employees and relevant stakeholders who become aware of any actual or suspected child labor practices may report such concerns through the Company's anonymous reporting channels. The Company is committed to protecting whistleblowers from retaliation, discrimination, harassment, or any adverse treatment resulting from good-faith reporting. VI. Policy Review and Updates This Policy shall be reviewed and updated periodically to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, international labor standards, and ESG best practices.
